Early Life and Career
Nerlens Noel, born April 10, 1994, is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He attended Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire, and was considered one of the top recruits in the nation.
Noel went on to play for the Kentucky Wildcats in college, where he became the face of the nation's most high-profile team. As a freshman, he was named AP Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. However, he missed the entire following season due to a torn ACL.
NBA Career
Noel was drafted sixth overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2013 NBA Draft. He made his NBA debut in 2014 and played for the 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Brooklyn Nets during his career.
