Oilers Fall in Game 3 to Canucks
Bouchard's Late Goal Not Enough
Canucks Win 4-3
The Edmonton Oilers' five-game winning streak came to an end on Tuesday night as they fell 4-3 to the Vancouver Canucks in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.
Evan Bouchard scored the game-winning goal with just over six minutes remaining in the third period, but it wasn't enough to overcome a two-goal deficit.
The Oilers went 0-for-5 on the power play, and their penalty kill allowed a goal in the second period.
The series now shifts to Edmonton for Game 4 on Thursday night.
The Oilers will need to find a way to generate more offense and improve their special teams play if they want to even the series.
